My aim as a Jazz host is to entertain and uplift you with the very best of Jazz sounds both classic and new. Since 1989 I have been hosting Jazz shows in the area and interviewing a wide variety of Jazz artists.

I started in 1989 as an overnight host at KVNO-FM and did overnight weekend shifts. Later I moved on to hosting 2 Hours of Mainstream jazz on the same station on Friday nights after 10pm and starting at 12 midnight..the KVNO Fusion Jazz Show. Also I hosted Jazz on then student run station KBLZ, also on the UNO campus.

When I graduated in late 1992 I moved on to work at KIOS-FM. Since that time I have been a voice heard on Saturday nights on that station, running the board and making the announcements when needed throughout the evening. In 1996 I received a great opportunity to begin hosting Jazz on a permanent basis on KIOS as host of The Last Call on Saturday nights starting at 11pm.

That same year I also started hosting with my colleague Mike Jacobs Jazz in the Afternoon, now airing from 1-3pm Tuesday through Friday afternoons.
